After the last run, I rested 2 days before running another below par 9km, doing over 1 hour again. Yesterday wanted to run, but en route, it rained. Arrgh! Then today, wanted to run, en route it didn't rain, so I changed et al, but the sky is dark and laden, but I was determined to do it, but 1 minute into the run, it started to drizzle, then rained harder and harder, and practically I was running in a downpour and got a good soaking, at least it made me run faster. So here it is...
E-Gate to Tesco End.. 1.1km 1.1km 7:25 7:25
Tesco End to E-Gate.. 1.1km 2.2km 8:32 15:57
Postrun weight dunno, maybe around 140. Tomorrow my shoes will probably be still wet, so good excuse not to run (haha). Folks, I really need some motivation. That's why I think I'm gonna register for the New Balance 15k run. By this time I'll have to pay the late fee already but whaddeheck I need the motivation even if I have to buy it (haha). I'm not expecting a super timing or anything, anyway this year will be the last that I will qualify in "Men's Open", after August I will have to be in "Senior" category. Haha, I'm old oredy, but hey they say life starts at 40, at least I'm still trying to be healthy and not degenerate into a couch potato. This also means I have 2 years left to prepare for mein 1st full marathon, I'm planning to run mein first full marathon at age 42 (you know, 1 km for every year of mein life). There is a deep underlying reason for all this, but that is another long story. OK signing off for now, I'm writing this at 2:16 am, need mein sleep!
